Encourage innovation in Physiotherapy research. Promote efficient and cost effective treatment to the needy with state of art infrastructure, so that we can serve the man kind.

The Department of Physiotherapy at Christian Medical College & Hospital was the 1st to be set up in the region and has been running since 1960’s. College of Physiotherapy, approved for BPT program with an annual intake of 20, affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot started in 2006. Physiotherapy aims to help you to optimise your mobility, function and independence.

Physiotherapists work with the multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers in CMC&H to provide holistic care that are arranged to meet our patient’s goals. We perform thorough assessments and design individualised treatment plans that may incorporate manual therapy, exercises and/or the use of electrotherapy to promote recovery.

We have a faculty of qualified and experienced physiotherapists. A good proportion of our physiotherapists have Master degree in specialised fields

Physiotherapy Department Features and Services:

The Physiotherapy Department of CMC&H provides a comprehensive range of Physiotherapy services. Our facilities and state-of-the-art therapeuticequipment ensures that our patients receive the highest level of care available.Physiotherapists work in the wards, looking after patients admitted in the hospital, as well as run outpatient clinics. The department has pioneered a number of significant physiotherapy services such as intensive respiratory care, pulmonary rehabilitation, ergonomics consultation, lymphedema therapy, Orthopaedic conditions and musculoskeletal injuries, and provides the most comprehensive burns and wound care management
