Introduction
Publicity as the name suggests, is the department which
projects an institute's image to the outside world. The inherent
values and the standards of quality become meaningless, if not
projected right. And due to the rise in per capita income and help
from the third party alliances (health insurance sector), patients
now have an excess to the best of the facilities. Hence the
projection needs to be effective to carve an impression to the
prospective patients. The department focuses on integrated marketing
communication for the hospital including Copywriting and development
of marketing materials, brochures, direct mail, advertising, emails,
website and press releases for publications. It works extensively
with local and national media to provide the public with newsworthy
information while ensuring that the basic rights of each patient are
adequately protected. It provides publicity for all newsworthy
events, or events in the public interest, which involve the Hospital
and associated services.
