Tumors in this part of specially arisingfrom pancreas and upper stomach and sometime large intestine do not produce symptoms in the early stage and because of this reason, the
patients usually present to hospital very late. In such locally advanced tumors the resection usually includes removal of adjoining organs.
It is very important to be vigilant about subtle symptoms like loss of appetite, postprandial fullness and change in bowel habit, so that tumors like this arising from pancreas and other intraabdominal organs are diagnosed at early stage with better outcome.
