We are a group of Christian Chaplain /Counsellors and care givers in the Christian Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana. Our inspiration and motivation for the caring that we offer is Jesus Christ, the Great Physician. Through our work in the hospital we seek to care for all, in sickness and in suffering. We endeavor to extend the friendship of Christ to people during moments of emotional and spiritual crisis. Together with doctors, nurses and technicians we attempt to support and encourage all those who seek medical care at CMC & Hospital Ludhiana. We make available our spiritual and pastoral resources to people in times like these. Compassion and care become an important focus of our care particularly when illness is chronic or incurable.
This facility is part of the wholistic health care programme of our institution.
We complement the health care provided by the medical and nursing care services of CMC & Hospital. The Fellowship Department provides the prayer support and spiritual aid for all those who approach our hospital. Prayer for the sick is an integral part of the healing concept that we promote. We believe that all healing comes from God, and we are participating in His healing work. We believe in the healing power of prayer and regularly pray for the sick and the suffering.
